February 15th

The night had come and gone. Selene had hardly noticed time slipping through her fingers. The window for asking questions was growing steadily smaller. If not today, maybe tomorrow. If not then, they’d figure it out. Nothing seemed more important than feeding each other, nothing except feeding Lupercal, itself. And they fed her well. They made music together, finding each other’s rhythm, each other’s magic in the notes that echoed through their cave.

Selene tilted her hips, pressing Pan deeper into the core of her body. Sparks of pleasure and pain rippled through her abdomen. Her thighs trembled. She was sitting in his lap, his hand pressed against her lower back, guiding her to the edge of another orgasm. Her head was silent, no doubts, no thoughts.

She dropped her head back, her curls touching the back of his hand, her tongue swiping across her lower lip before her mouth parted in a whine of his name. Her pussy spasmed around his cock, staining the fur along his thighs in more of her juices.

Pan lifted his free hand to cradle the back of her head, bringing her mouth back to him to kiss her deeply. “It’s the last day.” He murmured.

“Though that hardly seems fair.” Selene breathed out, a whimper straining the words as her abdomen tightened. “You took a day from me.”

“Yes,” He grinned against her mouth. “And I plan to take this one too. I’m going to fuck every thought of curses right out of your mind.”

Selene made a little noise. “Pan.” She whined, pressing kisses along his lower lip. “Don’t you want to leave this place with me?” She mumbled, but there was no real concern in her tone. It just didn’t seem as important anymore.

Pan’s gaze flickered around in hers. “You really mean these things you say, don’t you?” He murmured. “You would have me even if we left this place?”

She held his gaze before dipping her head in a slow nod, a smile softening her features. “I think I’ve become quite fond of you, husband.” Selene tilted her shoulders. “You belong to me.”

His features clouded, his shoulders drooping in her grasp. “Selene.”

“What’s wrong?” She asked, the look on his face filling her belly with nerves. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Pan shifted his hands to frame her face between them. “I need you to be clever, wife.” He murmured. “Ask—” His teeth came together in an audible clack, a grimace of pain tightening his features. “Who—”

Selene made a little noise, her hands slipping from the back of his neck to touch his cheeks. “Who cursed you?” She asked, feeling the moment his face relaxed beneath her fingers. “Who punished you?”

“Selene.”

“What?” She breathed out. “Was that not the right—?”

“Do you know the goddess you were named for, little moon?”

Understanding dawned, her lips parted in a soft, oh. “The moon goddess.” Her heart fluttered in her chest. Of course it is. That’s what he’d said when she’d told him her name. Of course it is. “Why did she do that?” She asked, dread starting to pool in her lower belly.
